Specialised Broking Associates Pty Ltd is a unique Australian insurance broking and risk management firm. SBA provides expert advice and insurance placement services to particular clients with specialised needs. SBA has recently taken responsibility for the impact of its business’s operations on climate change. SBA commissioned the Carbon Reduction Institute to undertake a carbon emissions assessment on its operations, including energy usage, employee travel, waste, and embodied emissions in products and services sold. SBA now purchases carbon credits to counterbalance its unavoidable carbon emissions and is in the course of implementing strategies to lower its carbon footprint.
